Some Recent Arrests

On July 5 at 1:09 a.m. Officer Sean Casella arrested Vu Hung Nguyen 47 of Springfield for OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation.  He was also cited for a marked lanes violation.

On July 7 at 12:38 a.m. Sergeant Jeffrey Rudinski conducted a motor vehicle stop on Boston Road for a speeding violation. Sergeant Rudinski subsequently observed a crosswalk sign in  the back seat. The operator, Timothy Regan 19 of Springfield admitted to  stealing the sign and a large recreational ball from the Wilbraham Recreation Department fields. Mr. Regan was charged with the Larceny and the property was returned.

On July 9 at 11:34 a.m. Detective Michael Cygan investigated a criminal harassment incident and had enough probable cause to get an arrest warrant. Andrew W. Bottone 35, of Wilbraham was taken into custody and assisting with the arrest was newly appointed police officer Christopher Rogers.

On July 10 around midnight Officer Christopher Arventos ran a record check on a license plate and found that the white Maxima did not have the right plate and later found the registration was revoked. Further investigation revealed that the operator, Julie Proulx 33 of Springfield had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident

Some Recent Arrests

On June 7 at 2:20 a.m. Officer Brent Noyes observed a lanes violation by a grey Hyundai on Springfield St. The vehicle was stopped and the driver showed signs of alcohol impairment. Meghan Gokey 28 of Springfield was arrested for OUI Alcohol and Negligent Operation.


On June 9 at 10:11a.m., Officer Lawrence Rich responded to an erratic operator call on Boston Road.  The gold Mitsubishi pulled into a Mobil Gas Station.  An identity check of the operator, Richard Mailloux 25 of N. Brookfield, revealed an arrest warrant, and he was taken into custody without incident.


On June 11 at 1230 p.m., Officer Lawrence Rich went to the Wilbraham Commons for a medical call.  While there, it was confirmed that the 19 year old caller had arrest warrants and was currently violating a restraining order. After a brief encounter with Officer Rich, the subject ran away into the woods and currently has additional charges pending.


On June 11 at 5:05 p.m. Sergeant Edward Lennon was doing a walk through Red Bridge and found an 18 year old female carrying an open beer. After verifying her age Alycia Rozzen of West Warren, will be receiving a summons in the mail, for Minor in Possession of Alcohol


On June 11 at 8:04 p.m. Sergeant Edward Lennon and Officer James Gagner responded to a Boston Road address for a domestic dispute/well being check. The 18 year old son had struck his mother and fled the scene on a bicycle. After a short while he was found and arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct
