Please review the Employee Open Enrollment Flyer FY 2013 for important notices and information on benefits effective July 1, 2012. You can make changes to your enrollment from April 17 to May 11, 2012, for the July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 plan year.
Flexible Benefits Plan
The Town offers a Flexible Benefits Plan (Section 125, also known as "Cafeteria Plan"), which is not an insurance plan but a way to purchase insurance. It allows eligible employees to purchase group insurance (health, dental and life) with pre-tax payroll deductions, and also offers two separate Flexible Spending Accounts: a Medical Expense Account and a Dependent Care Account.

Dental Insurance
Dental Insurance is offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield:
Group Life Insurance
The town offers a $2,000 term life insurance policy with a monthly premium of $1.68 of which the town pays 50% ($.84) and the employee pays 50% ($.84) of the premium monthly.
