FALL CLASSES AND PROGRAMS
 AMERICAN RED CROSS BABYSITTER’S TRAINING
Coed – Ages 11 and up - $78.00 Residents/ $88.00 Non-Residents
Be the Best Babysitter on the Block!

ONLINE ONLY REGISTRATION opens for Wilbraham residents Sept.7th @ 8:30am/ Non-Residents Sept. 8th
Class will run for two Saturdays and will include babysitting, First Aid and CPR certification
 
September 25th AND October 2nd  ~ 9:00AM-3:30PM ~ Class limited to 12
(You must attend both classes to be certified)
Bring a lunch, snacks, etc. This newly revised and updated class will give each participant excellent training on how to care for infants and children. Skills such as first aid, decision making, bedtime issues, emergency action, parent’s expectations, CPR  training and much more will be taught in a fun and interactive format.

Certificates given for those who attend the entire two day course. A popular class!

THEATRE ARTS WITH PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS

Join the dynamic team from Performing Arts for an enthusiastic acting experience!
 
SEVEN WEDNESDAYS: October 6th – November 17th
 Grades K-4: 5:05PM – 6:00PM --- Grades 5-8: 6:05PM – 7:00PM
Children will be introduced to new and exciting theater games, concentration exercises, voice and speech, improvisational exercises, acting terminology, sense memory, subtext, stage skills, and script work. Classes will be challenging and offer new and exciting activities for the more experienced participant as well.
A winter session will also be offered beginning early Feb. to keep skills improving!

Registration starts August 24 at www.performingartsprograms.biz or you can pick up a mail-in form at the WPRD.

 SIX MONDAYS BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1

When kids learn art, they think, they discover, they thrive!  Art teaches creativity and critical thinking, self-expression and problem solving.  Workshops provide hands on art-based experiences enjoyed in a stress free and non-competitive environment.  With a bit of whimsy and wacky, explorers think outside the box  about art as it relates to the amazing world we live in!
 

AROUND THE WORLD CREATIVITY TOUR - (GR. K-3)- Children create a hot air balloon to take them up and away!  Each week they will land somewhere in the world and create a wicked cool cultural craft. Concepts in geography, history, and culture are  included as well as humor and surprises.  Don’t miss these exciting adventures! Mondays, 5:45-6:45pm beginning Nov. 1. -  Cost- $75.00/ resident.  $85.00/ non-resident.

ART-VENTURES IN THE RAIN FOREST- (GR. 4-7) - Explore the fascinating endangered rainforest and meet the wondrous that live in it! Surprises and laughter as explorers experience fabric art, decorating wood, printmaking, watercolors, clay, collage and more. Masterpieces go home each week.  Mondays, 7:00-8:00pm, beginning Nov.1. Cost- $75.00/ resident.  $85.00/ non-resident.
