FEBRUARY GOLF CLINICS: Pete Chapman, PGA professional from the Country Club of Wilbraham will offer a variety of February golf clinics to women and Juniors ages 7-16. The clinics will be held at the Soccer City facility in Wilbraham and limited to ten participants. The four week women’s clinic will run Tuesday through Friday, 6-7pm beginning Feb. 8 with a cost of $100. The one hour junior clinics will be held during Feb. vacation, with a cost of $60.00.  Download the fect sheet and mail in registration form above or register online!

CREATIVE ART- PENQUINS AND POLAR BEARS:  Don’t miss the Art-rageous fun from the creative staff of Let's Gogh Art.  Art explorers visit Antarctica and the arctic region to learn about the captivating lives of penguins and polar bears. This fun, art-packed series explores life in and around the water while kids discover a myriad of unique artist’s materials and techniques. Sculpt polar bears out of clay, make  modeling material penguin reliefs, build sand castle light houses, paint ceramics and learn fabric design while creating T-shirts. Experience the art of mosaics, decoupage, collage, stained glass and so much more while learning fun facts and concepts of endangered life, pollution and ecology. Eight Tuesdays beginning April 3 (No class 4/17) 5:15-6:15PM- Location TBD.  Grades K - 5.  $105.00 includes all materials. Register now through March 23- Online or at the WPRD Office.


DRAWING COOL CARTOONS: AGES 8 AND UP, 6 WEEKS - TUESDAYS - 6:30-7:30PM- Begins Feb 7.
Through this 6 week course we will be experimenting with various forms and types of cartoons including an introduction to drawing Manga! We will learn how to create our own cartoons and characters, comics and graphic novels. We will also learn many basic drawing skills such as perspective and shading. Because we are working with cartoons, we will be using our spelling and grammar skills as well as drawing and design!  Emphasis will on the individual to bring out his/her style. There is something for everyone here from beginner to advanced. We will be dealing primarily with black and white drawings, though we will touch on color and color theory and how best to use it as well as the different media available. With some guidance and some of the tools and tricks of cartooning, the students will feel more confident to express themselves in their art. Above all, though, this is about having fun!! . FEE: $55. ACTING FUN WITH ‘PERFORMING ARTS’: GR. K-4, 5:05-6:00pm, Gr. 5-8, 6:05:7:00pm. 7 WEEKS- WEDNESDAYS,  Begins  Feb 8. The team from Performing Arts will offer a fun acting experience where children will be introduced to exciting theater games, concentration exercises, voice and speech, improvisational  exercises, acting terminology, sense memory, subtext, stage skills and script work. At the end of this session there is an informal performance to demonstrate what participants have been working on.  Classes will also be challenging and offer new and exciting activities for the more experienced participant as well.
