Open Communication
Open communication in the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District is highly valued. Residents are encouraged to call or write to members of the School Committee and the Superintendent of Schools when they have questions or comments.

School Committee meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.

During the year, information is provided through school newsletters, the local newspapers, and public access television.

Residents are encouraged to participate on building and district committees. Shared decision-making teams, with parent membership, are in place in all district schools. Informal chat sessions with parents are hosted by the superintendent several times during the school year and are open to all. Community involvement has been, and continues to be, very important. Children in the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District benefit greatly from the support of the two communities that place a premium on quality education.
