Meetings

Meetings are typically held on a Thursday evening at the Wilbraham Town Hall, 240 Springfield Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095. Meeting frequency is typically twice per month. The committee will occasionally meet at various Town-owned properties for on-site gathering of Information.

Overview

The Wilbraham Building Utilization Committee (BUC) is a nine member board appointed by the Wilbraham Select Board. The BUC is a volunteer Board that has been established to evaluate properties owned by the Town of Wilbraham and to gather information regarding their use (current and potential future) and condition. The Wilbraham Select Board has charged the committee with the task of generating a final presentation in early 2026 to include recommendations on optimizing current and future use of subject properties. This work will be performed through the following measures:

• Review existing studies on building condition and use. 
• Interview municipal departments that are currently using each Town-owned property.
• Conduct on-site visits to each property.
• Compile data, evaluate, and present in a report format

Mission

The Wilbraham Building Utilization Committee is dedicated to optimize the use of the Town-owned properties to meet the current and future needs of our community. Our mission is to assess facilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend cost effective solutions to increase functionality and efficiency. Collaborating with town officials, stakeholders, and residents. The committee will strive to ensure that Wilbraham properties effectively serve the community of Wilbraham.
