The Wilbraham Police Department is committed to providing the highest level of public safety and service to the citizens and business people within our community. Community Policing is a top priority of the officers of the Police Department and are dedicated to this mission.
The Police Department is located in a Brand New state of the art facility located at 2780 Boston Road and provides services with 28 full-time officers. Emergency services and public safety information are provided 24 hours a day. The Department serves the community with three shifts (7 to 3, 3 to 11 & 11 to 7) and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Police Department provides the community with a number of initiatives including School Resource Officer, a R.A.D. program (Rape Aggression Defense) training for women, R.A.D. KIDS program, Internet Crimes & Social Media presentations, a child passenger safety technician for infant car seat inspections, K9 presentations, a Citizens' Police Academy, as well as Elder Outreach and other public education and information programs. Requests for administrative services can be initiated at any time by either calling or stopping by the police headquarters.
Requests are usually processed during the business day. The Department also issues Massachusetts Licenses to Carry Firearms and Firearms Identification Cards.
