
DRUG TRAINING
Sgt Baldwin, Ptl Letendre, and Ptl Gagner recently attended a one day training in Drug Investigations. The class instructed officers on the latest investigatory techniques and laws regarding drug investigations. Sgt Baldwin is assigned to 12-8 and supervises investigations, Ptl Letendre is assigned to 4-12 patrol and is a member of the Eastern Hampden County Drug Task Force. Ptl Gagner is assigned to 4-12 patrol.
ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING
Numerous officers including Captain Tim Kane (8-4 Commanding Officer), Captain Robert Zollo (4-12 Commanding Officer) Sgt Dan Carr (8-4 Supervisor), and Ptl Larry Rich (8-4 patrol) attended active shooter training . The training was presented by the MA State Police STOP Team on the latest techniques being utilized on building entries and searches with active shooters.
CYBER CRIMES / COMPUTER FORENSICS
Det Rudinski recently attended the 2014 National Cyber Crimes Conference in Norwood MA. Det Rudinski was awarded a scholarship through the MA ICAC Task Force who paid for the tuition. The event was attended by 650 Law Enforcement Members from 35 states, Canada, and the US Virgin Islands. Det Rudinski attended training in the following areas: Digital Crime Scene Processing, Autopsy digital forensics, Mobile Device Seizure, Recovery of Volatile Data (RAM DUMPS), Field Triage and Data Acquisition, Advanced Google Investigations, Mobile Device Forensics and Malware, Smart Device APP Data, & Tips&Tricks for Internet Investigations.
