Some Weekend Arrests

On 05/24/14 at approximately 1615 , Ofc Diogo observed a suspicious vehicle on Stony Hill Rd. Ofc Diogo observed the same vehicle stop on Stony Hill Rd and subsequently observed a black female and white male approaching the vehicle as it came to a stop in the vicinity of CVS. Ofc Diogo stopped the vehicle for motor vehicle offenses and conducted a roadside investigation. After observing numerous items which he believed to be stolen from CVS, the operator and passenger were questioned. After completing his investigation four individuals were placed under arrest.

1.) Leon Mckever, 47 of Springfield for shoplifting and 5 Warrants

2.) Richard Lee Jones, 61 of Springfield for shoplifting &  receiving  stolen property

3.) Anthony Chretien, 52 of Springfield for shoplifting & a warrant

4.) Kenya Sorrell, 28 of Springfield for shoplifting


On 05/24/14 at 18:59 hrs, K-9 Officer Brewer received information from an off duty Ludlow officer about a suspicious vehicle at  FL Roberts on Boston Rd. Ofc Noyes and K-9 Ofc Brewer made contact with the vehicles operator identified as Timothy Baldwin. A routine check determined that Baldwin had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and that his license to operate was suspended.
Timothy Baldwin, 40 of Palmer was placed under arrest for on an outstanding warrant, and operating with a suspended driver license.

On 05/24/14 at 0116 hrs Sgt Baldwin was on patrol on Boston Rd. At this time, Sgt Baldwin observed a vehicle operating erratically and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Ofc Casella and Ofc Arventos assisted at the scene.  Sgt Baldwin conducted roadside tests to determine impairment of the operator. Sgt Baldwin subsequently placed Andrew Mumley, 23 of Springfield under placed arrest for OUI, negligent operation and marked lanes.

On 05/25/14 at 00:29 hrs Ofc Diogo was patrolling Springfield St in Wilbraham. Ofc Diogo subsequently observed a vehicle operating erratically and stopped the vehicle on Stony Hill Rd. Ofc Noyes assisted at the scene. Ofc's Diogo and Noyes conducted roadside tests to determine impairment of the operator. The operator Sharon Campsie, 42 of Indian Orchard was arrested for OUI, Negligent operation and marked lanes.
