Some Recent Arrests

On August 16 at 1:40 a.m. Officer Brent Noyes observed a vehicle commit a marked lanes violation on Stony Hill Road.  The vehicle was stopped.  The operator showed signs of impairment and failed subsequent field sobriety tests. Cody Livermore 18, of Ludlow was arrested for OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation.


On August 16 at 10:40 p.m. Officer James Gagner and Joseph Brewer responded to a domestic disturbance at the 2500 block of Boston Road. The 54 year old boyfriend struck his girlfriend and was arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery and Intimidation of a Witness.


On August 17 at 12:00 a.m. Officer Sean Casella observed a marked lanes violation on Stony Hill Road. The Honda CRV was stopped and the operator showed signs of impairment. Colin Scott 22, of Belchertown was arrested for OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation. Officer Brent Noyes assisted.


On August 17 at 11:06 p.m. Officer Sean Casella was working an OUI grant detail. He observed a marked lanes violation on Stony Hill Road. The red Pontiac Bonneville was stopped. The operator, 24 year old Justin Anderson of Hampden was arrested for OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation.


On August 18 at 5:28 p.m. Officers Daniel Menard and Christian Letendre responded to a Domestic Disturbance at the 400 block of Springfield St. They were given information that the husband had struck his wife and left the scene. Officers found the 33 year old Wilbraham resident and arrested him for two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.  


On August 20 at 12:25 a.m. Sergeant Shawn Baldwin and Officer Christopher Arventos responded to Grove St. after getting information that a person residing there had an arrest warrant. Amanda Gladstone 27, of Wilbraham was arrested without incident.


On August 20 at 2:07 p.m. Officers Lawrence Rich, Harold Swift and Captain Timothy Kane responded to a crash at the 2600 block of Boston Road. Operator Christin Dubin 30, of Brimfield was charged with a Marked Lanes violation and Negligent Operation after driving in the opposite oncoming lane and striking the second vehicle almost head on.


On August 20 at 7:00 p.m. Officer Joseph Brewer assisted a young lady who had her cell phone stolen at a sports camp. Her phone use and history helped locate the phone.  Officer Brewer summoned a 16 year old juvenile from Wilbraham for Larceny over $250.



On August 22 at 6:30 a.m. Sergeant Shawn Baldwin received information that a Wilbraham resident had an arrest warrant for domestic related crimes. Sergeant Baldwin and Officer Sean Casella responded to the 1000 block of Stony Hill Road in an attempt to locate him. The suspect was there and arrested for the warrant.  It was also found that the arrestee was at the residence in violation of a restraining order and was currently placing his wife in fear not to speak to police and he subsequently was also charged with Violating the Restraining Order and Intimidation of a Witness.
