A Hampden Superior Court jury on Thursday found Steven Flood, 49, of Wilbraham, guilty of 19 crimes, including child rape.

Jurors delivered guilty verdicts on six counts of rape of a child, 11 counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over.

The cases involve alleged offenses against three boys taking place from 1997 to 2006.

Judge John S. Ferrara set sentencing for Monday at 9 a.m.

He revoked bail for Flood, who was handcuffed and taken into custody.

The prosecutor, assistant district attorney Jane E. Mulqueen, said Flood manipulated the young boys into situations where he could molest them. The only link among the victims, who are not related to Flood, is “what they suffered at the hands of this defendant,” she said.

The crimes are alleged to have taken place at Flood’s home, at two different swimming pools and in Flood’s truck, she said.

Defense lawyer James J. Bregianes had argued Flood is “a man who has been blindsided by horrendous accusations of events which occurred up to 16 years ago. These allegations are false.”
