SOME RECENT ARRESTS

On December 18 at 12:40 a.m. Officers Christopher Arventos, Alderico Florindo and David Diogo responded to a Boston Road address for a domestic dispute. Officers had previous knowledge that a protective order was in effect. Raymond Girard 46, of Wilbraham was present in violation of the restraining order and placed under arrest by Officer Arventos.


On December 18 at 6:43 p.m. Officer Joseph Brewer began a follow up with property found during a vehicle inventory search related to a recent drug arrest. Todd Archible 32, of Belchertown is being charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $250.


On December 19 at 10:15 p.m. several Wilbraham officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Springfield St.  The driver, Mehmet Citlak 51, of Ludlow was arrested and charged by Officer Brent Noyes for OUI Liquor, Marked Lanes and Negligent Operation.


On December 22 at 1:39 a.m. Officer David Diogo observed a speeding motor vehicle on Main St and stopped same. After a subsequent investigation, passengers Anthony Goonan 18, of Wilbraham and Nicholas Borysyk 18, of Wilbraham will be charged with Possession of Alcohol under 21.


On December 22 at 3:09 a.m. Officer Christopher Arventos stopped a vehicle for a registration issue.  It was later found that the operator, Matthew St Onge 22, of Nashua New Hampshire, had two arrest warrants and was placed in custody by Arventos without incident.


On December 22 at 3:44 p.m. Officers James Gagner and Joseph Brewer responded to a Maynard Road address for a disturbance.  While investigating at the residence, officers developed probable cause to charge Russell Valiton 52, with Animal Cruelty.  He will be summoned to court.


On December 23 at 10:03 p.m. Officer David Diogo made a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on Boston Road.  Subsequent investigation revealed that both the operator, Frank Carey 54, from Belchertown and the passenger, Shanna Sprinkle 23, of Jacksonville Florida, possessed cocaine. The passenger also had an extraditable warrant out of Florida for trafficking in stolen property. Both were placed under arrest by Officer Diogo with assistance given by Officer Joseph Brewer.
