On January 21 at 12:19 a.m. Officer David Diogo stopped a motor vehicle which had been operating erratically. Further investigation revealed that the operator, Greg Levesque 21, of Wilbraham was OUI Liquor and Operating Negligently and was placed under arrest.
On January 21 at 9:30 a.m. Officer Peter Laviolette responded to Boston Road for a two car crash. Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator of one of the vehicles had been operating on a suspended license and also had a warrant for his arrest. Heath Christiansen 38, of Indian Orchard was arrested without incident.
On January 21 at 6:44 p.m. a massage therapist working at Life Care reported that she had her wallet stolen. A suspect was interviewed by Officers Michael Cygan and Justin Wall. Jonathan Brandon 23, of Holyoke was charged with Larceny over $250.
On January 23 at 10:49 p.m. Officer’s Thomas Motyka and Sergeant Mark Paradis responded to Wilbraham Tire for a burglar alarm. Officers found a broken window. The owner was called and responded and verified the business had been broken into. A short time later a manager from a restaurant up the road called stating a young teenager admitted to breaking into the tire store. A 13 year old male from Springfield was arrested by Officer Motyka for Breaking and Entering, Destruction of Property, Larceny under $250 and Illegal Possession of a BB gun.
On January 24 at 1:23 a.m. Officer David Diogo stopped a motor vehicle on James Circle for a previous traffic violation. Further investigation developed probable cause that Aidan Burke 23, of Wilbraham was OUI Liquor and he was arrested by Officer Diogo without incident. Mr. Burke was also charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and a Marked Lanes Violation.
