Wilbraham Town Clerk Carole J. Tardif is announcing that nomination papers are available in her office until Thursday, March 28, 2019 for the Annual Town Election scheduled for May 18, 2019.
The positions being voted that day are: Selectman for 3 years, Assessor for 3 years, one Regional School Committee members for 3 years, Cemetery Commissioner for 3 years, Water Commissioner for 3 years, two Library Trustees for 3 years, one Planning Board Member for 5 years, and one Wilbraham Housing Authority Member for 2 years.
The deadline for submission to the Registrars for certification is Monday, April 1st, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for those who wish to obtain those papers.
A total of 50 signatures from registered Wilbraham voters are required to have a name listed on the ballot as an independent candidate.
