Wilbraham Town Clerk, Carole J. Tardif, is announcing that nomination papers are available in her office by calling 596-2800 ext. 200 and setting up an appointment. The last day to obtain nomination papers is Wednesday, March 30, 2022 for the Annual Town Election scheduled for May 21, 2022. The positions being voted that day are: Selectman for 3 years, Assessor for 3 years, one Regional School Committee members for 3 years, Cemetery Commissioner for 3 years, Water Commissioner for 3 years, two Library Trustees for 3 years, one Planning Board Member for 5 years, and one Planning Board Member for 1 year (to fill in the remaining term of resigned member). The deadline for submission to the Registrars for certification is Friday, April 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Town Clerk’s office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. A total of 50 signatures from registered Wilbraham voters are required to have a name listed on the ballot as a candidate. A letter stating the candidate’s name, address and the office being sought must be submitted at the time of the request to the Town Clerk.
