Wilbraham Paving and Related Work 2022 Scheduling
August 15 – August 24, 2022
• Springfield St: (8/15-8/24):
o Monday – handicap ramps on Main/Springfield St, repair manholes and
catch basins
o Wednesday 8/17– Mill Springfield St. Road will be closed. Use detour at
Faculty.
o Wednesday 8/25 – Springfield St will be closed for paving. Use detour at
Faculty.
• Stony Hill Road Sidewalk: 8/16-8/17
o Sidewalk to be final graded and paved No significant delays are expected
• Main Street Thursday (8/18-8/25):
o Thursday – 8/18 -Main Street will be milled from Pomeroy to Faculty St.
Only the northbound lane will be open (Hampden to Boston Road).
Southbound traffic will be detoured. The detour will be as follows: Faculty
St to Springfield St to Ripley to Hunting Lane.
o Tuesday - 8/23 –Main Street will be paved. Only the northbound lane will
be open (Hampden to Boston Road). Southbound traffic will be detoured.
The detour will be as follows: Faculty St to Springfield St to Ripley to Hunting
Lane.
o Please seek alternate routes, expect delays.
• Library –
o Friday 8/19 - The library parking lot will be milled early morning, parking
area will be remain open
o Monday 8/22 – The library parking lots will be paved. The parking lots will
be closed for the day.
• Woodland Dell –
o Friday 8/19 – Milling Woodland Dell one lane traffic
o Monday 8/22 – Paving on Woodland Dell, one lane traffic
